Having visited before for dinner, we knew brunch at The Wilder was going to be wonderful. Turns out, it exceeded our expectations!
Here's what we loved about taking a walk on "The Wilder" side for brunch this weekend...
Decades of good times ooze from walls of this open space that was previously home to the Coat of Arms pub. Vintage floor tiles give a 50's diner feel, while the tiki glasses and palm trees transport you to a 60's style speakeasy on Waikiki beach. The tunes of Elton John and Michael Jackson playing in the background provided a laid-back weekend groove; setting the scene for a memorable meal.
For someone who has a major sweet tooth, I was happily surprised by the number of options for breakfast indulgences. Highlights included the pancake (a classic, turned up a notch), the Pineapple Clafoutis (don't ask, just try), and the banana nut bread with lemon poppy icing...
If a power breakfast is more your style, there are plenty of options to jumpstart your day; think eggs, bacon, and benedicts galore!
P.S. The QUALITY is there on every dish.
The Wilder offers brunch on Saturdays AND Sundays from 10:30 - 4:30. Pancakes and pinball in the afternoon anyone??
At The Wilder, you don't have to commit to one breakfast. With a variety of small plates offered, it's fun to share and try a little taste of everything!
Cheers to the good times with great people, and tasty food!
