NOWADAYS FLOWER FARM
After years of dreaming about growing cut flowers, husband and wife team Robbie and Bridget finally asked themselves, “why not now?” and created Nowadays Flower Farm. Based in Dover, these “accidental farmers” are on a mission to bring joy and beauty to the community through local flowers, growing specialty varieties like tulips, ranunculus, dahlias, zinnias, lisianthus, and more. From May through October Nowadays offers retail arrangements and wholesale flowers, bouquet subscriptions, weddings and events, flower truck pop ups with their 1970 vintage WV named Clover, and floral design workshops. They’re also launching a therapeutic horticulture program this year, starting with an art + flower camp for kids in July! Learn more and connect on the website!

A MERRY B FLORALS
a merry b florals is a Kittery Point, Maine-based studio floral business specializing in designs that are rich in color and texture and are elegant and whimsical all at once! Ann and her team combine lush and lasting blooms and design unique arrangements that make every day feel special! As the New England seasons allow, a merry b florals creates designs that feature locally grown and harvested flowers. They offer floral arrangements for delivery, and also specialize in event florals. a merry b’s bicycle flower shop ‘pops up’ around southern Maine and the team collaborates with other local small businesses to offer seasonal floral pop ups and workshops.

WILD VALENTINE
Wild Valentine is an artisan flower shop and neighborhood café in Portsmouth’s South End where you’ll find garden-style flower arrangements, locally sourced coffee and a creative lineup of food items. The fresh, unruly flower arrangements for weddings, special events, delivering to loved ones, and for personal enjoyment are available for delivery throughout the seacoast Tuesday through Saturday and available for pickup seven days a week. FOXGLOVE FARMHOUSE
During the growing season, flowers are available by joining Foxglove Farmhouse’s annual flower club, a floral CSA that begins in May and ends in October, and by ordering custom vase arrangements or bouquets through the website. Elizabeth also runs floral workshops; covering topics such as centerpiece design, cut flower garden for beginners, seed starting, and sustainable floristry. Workshops can be curated to small groups in someone’s home, for hotel guests, and are offered throughout the year at various locations in the Seacoast for the general public!

BAYBERRY & COMPANY
Much of what Bayberry & Company’s fine gardeners do is the highly detailed management of a property as it matures. To do it well, timing is everything. In spring, they prepare and clean up gardens and prepare for planting. This usually includes installation of annual programs that might include planting containers in spring and summer and dividing perennials as the garden matures to promote plant health and vigor.
In summer, our gardeners spend much of their time deadheading, pruning and weeding. They also perform holiday decorating with fine greens, foliage, berry laden twigs and colorful accent branches combined with festive, tasteful ribbons. For the winter months the team of gardeners might introduce Red Twig Dogwoods or ornamental grasses to provide visual interest.
